Dr. Miguel Román is the Deputy Director for Atmospheres and Data Systems in NASA Goddard Space Flight Center’s Earth Sciences Division, where he oversees an extensive portfolio of research spanning mesoscale processes, atmospheric composition, radiative transfer, and advanced satellite data systems. In this capacity, he leads technology-focused initiatives that leverage next-generation instruments, cutting-edge retrieval techniques, and data analytics to strengthen NASA’s operational readiness and strategic mission objectives.
