Solar Physics Laboratory

The Solar Physics Lab studies the Sun’s activity and magnetic fields to predict solar eruptions that can cripple power grids and critical communications.

By developing advanced instruments, models, and techniques, the lab enhances our understanding of solar phenomena and their impact on Earth. Its research enables space weather forecasting, safeguarding infrastructure, and supporting space exploration.
